At first glance, Aerocomfort 3.1 XP may look like a typical soft bike bag with no internal protection. But don’t be fooled. Inside lies the core of the design: the Frame Defender™, a built-in stand that securely anchors the bike frame in just a few minutes after removing the wheels. A solid and effective protection system against even the harshest impacts.

ADVANCED MATERIALS
Aerocomfort 3.1 XP is built with 3D-Padding™, a sophisticated triple-layer bonded material that combines military-grade CrossGuardTex™ anti-tear fabric, a high-density ImpactSafe™ foam core, and Reinforced D-TEX840 outer shell fabric. The result is a durable, padded, lightweight, and foldable structure. The bag is secured with a Twist Zip™ double-coil zipper made from two chains stitched into a single spiral, engineered to resist forced opening attempts with sharp objects. GuardLock™ zipper pulls are designed for use with TSA® combination locks, allowing safe inspection during air travel. Completing the protection system, Durashield™ external hard shields are strategically placed in the most exposed areas of the bag to absorb and deflect sudden impacts.

The TSA-approved lock provided with Aerocomfort ensures that the bike bag can be opened, inspected, and securely reclosed by customs authorities at international airports, without any risk of damage.
Traveled to Seattle with my bag- easy to roll and lightweight. No damage to the bike or wheels. TSA did open the gear bag each flight so don’t put much in it. Thankful there were other users who posted YouTube videos on how to pack the bag— much easier to follow than the QR code that came with the bag.

It’s perfect , I was wary but once Nike is packed the inserts do the perfect job to protect the bike.
I tested the bag at home in the garage and did a full practice run as if it were real. My Specialized Aethos bike, size L, fits in the bag like a glove, everything is very stable and secured with built-in straps. There is still room in the bag for a whole bunch of necessities that are needed on a longer trip.
I need time to get acquainted with this new bag…at the time of writing, information asymmetry doesn’t allow me to give more than 4 stars….

New bag for new Giant Propel SL
Fantastic customer service – I ordered two bags, and they contacted me straight away to double-check that it wasn’t a mistake. Everything arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Haven’t tested them yet, but the build quality and finish look excellent. Really impressed with the attention to detail and professional communication.
We now have three of these bags! They really are simple to pack and especially easy to wheel around in the airport. Have never had a problem with damage to our bikes.
I gave 4 stars, because it would be nice if there was more room and protection down by the rear derailleur. I take off normal derailleurs, but for my SRAM AXS transmission bike the derailleur is just too big to leave on the bike, even if it is supposed to be strong enough to leave in place. So I take it off, but it is a little more work than typical derailleurs

Excellent. The new bag has a lot more padding which is quite protective on flights particularly of the rear derailer.
La housse est de bonne qualité et protège efficacement le vélo. En revanche, je suis surpris qu'aucun sac de rangement ne soit fourni. Une fois le vélo sorti, la housse passe pourtant la plus grande partie de son temps pliée et rangée. Sans sac dédié, elle est encombrante à transporter et à stocker. Pour un produit de cette qualité, cet oubli est difficile à comprendre.

Comfortable and easy to use
Excellent bag for traveling, extra padding all over and Scicon makes it easy to pack. They shipped it out and since I am in San Diego, they got it to me in 1 day! Big props to Travis for helping me out before my next trip! I would highly recommend this bag if you have a nice and expensive road bike. This will keep my Colnago Y1RS very safe and sound.
Would love to give this 5 stars, but the instructions are so atrocious and lacking that anyone who hasn't put a bike into a bike box before will struggle to finish this in a decent amount of time without bending their rear derailleur or causing other damage to the bike. With that said, I do like the bag, though I wouldn't recommend it for anyone with a frame over 54 cm. My 54cm just fits with the derailleur yanked forward. Next time I pack it, I'll definitely take the rear derailleur off to protect it.

The Aerocomfort 3.1 Road Bag is well built and ready for the riggers of the airport. I have only made one trip, but my gear was in place and intact once I arrived. Had the bike ready to ride in 20 minutes. I felt very confident when packing my bike that all would go well and it did!
