For me it is the perfect rain jacket. It doesn't let water through, it has a big hood and the collar has a thermal fabric that keeps the neck warm. It is not thermal, in cold weather I have to wear a jumper or sweatshirt. I always use it if the weather is changeable and there is a risk of catching rain. Nice!
