The lenses of my optical insert fog up — how can I reduce this issue?
The optical insert sits between the sunglass lens and your face, limiting airflow; for this reason, fogging may occur if the prescription lenses installed do not feature an anti-fog treatment. To reduce the problem, we recommend asking your optician to apply an anti-fog coating to the insert’s lenses during installation.Alternatively, you can use anti-fog wipes, which are widely available on the market and can be applied when needed.
Why does my lateral field of view seem reduced when using the optical insert?
The optical insert is positioned inside the eyewear, behind the sun lens, and is smaller than the main lens. As a result, the peripheral area of the sun lens does not include optical correction, which may create the perception of a slightly reduced lateral field of view compared to direct prescription sport lenses. This is a common characteristic of all optical inserts: the corrective lens is placed directly in front of your line of sight to ensure sharp vision within the primary visual axis, while the lateral area remains outside the corrected zone. This effect does not compromise performance, but it is important to be aware of it when choosing between an optical insert and corrective lenses mounted on adapters that cover the entire field of view. Encontrar unos lentes para mi cara no es fácil. Durante años he tenido que usar máscaras gigantes que, aunque estén de moda, con mi cara ya grande no terminan de quedar bien. Hasta que probé los Aerobean, que son relativamente pequeños pero me resultan súper cómodos. Además, la lente fotocromática es una bomba: te cambia completamente la percepción visual. Todo se ve más luminoso, es como aplicar un LUT a la luz del día. Sin duda, serán mis lentes preferidos esta temporada. ¡Espero que lleguen nuevas actualizaciones!

Difficile trovare un occhiale da vista per andare in bici più funzionale di questo. Ho fatto montare lenti fotocromatiche dal mio ottico su adattatore grande. Finalmente ci vedo bene, non si appannano e mi godo le uscite in bici.

Sono diventato fans accanito degli occhiali Scicon e con questo si sono ancora una volta superati. Veste a pennello ed ho scelto la lente fotocromatica rossa. Stratosferica!
Devo dire che all'inizio quando li ho visti ero scettico ma, ne avevo bisogno. Fantastici ! Leggo il Garmin, telefono senza più portarmi da casa un secondo paio di occhiali da lettura.
