Buy the handlebar and rear triangle protection for some extra piece of mind. I’ve not flown with them yet, but I no longer have any trepidation about doing so. These are very sturdy, well-fitting, and confidence-inspiring extra bits of protection.
The handlebar shield fits well over my handlebars and nicely into the travel bag. It’s sturdy and seems like it will give an added layer of protection while my bike is in transit in both airplanes and cars.

Solid protection, with more than just padding in the shield,something like a flat flexible sheet within. Is very tight if your bars are 40cm wide,you will need to loosen yiur shifters. But overall an excellent addition to an aerocomfort bag.

Great add on for flying. Keeps the handle bars very snug and secure. Di2 can still shift with lots of pressure, but I’m not worried at all about the levers getting damaged. Can’t believe I used to fly without this

Not a bad word to say about Scicon products or their service. I’ve been travelling with my road bike in a Scicon bag on about 30flights a year for the past three years and the only damage done was caused by rough handling. The bag performed perfectly. Wouldn’t hesitate to purchase another!
