Horizontal Dropout Lock, Nut Aerocomfort Bike Bag

My first lock broke after 7 trips I always thought it was not sturdy enough. I was surprised not only to see that Scicon has created replacement parts but mainly because the one that was sent wasreally an improvement. The new part is a major upgrade. Highly recommending this company.

Great service and easy!

delivered on time and part fit perfectly

A huge improvement over the original drop out lock which was easier to remove, but tricky to install and extremely fragile.
Kudos to the Scicon team for the development of this new iteration.

It’s great, but should have been designed like this in the first place. Replacements should be available for free to existing customers

The square type works perfectly..

Replace for older type much more robust

Es una gran ventaja poder disponer de todo tipo de repuestos para la maleta

Fit perfectly into my Scicon bag, and arrived ahead of schedule!

Tutto ok e rapidissimi

Could not find the part on the website, emailed with a few pics and received the correct part link quickly. Exactly what was needed.

The new design of the drop out lock is much better than the old one as it has stronger thread and larger bolt.

The replacement lock nut fixes the problem perfectly and the service was so swift and efficient.

Bought a bag 2nd hand, missing this screw. Does what it says on the tin.

perfect, better than the original.

Deze ziet er een stuk beter en stabieler uit als de vorige die doordraaide. Hopelijk staat mijn fiets nu steviger :)

It was fabulous to replace this wear part so easily. Effortless.

Viel besser als das vorherige System.
Passt gut!

Great that you can easily get hold of spare parts. Quick and effortless service as I have come to expect from Scicon.

rien à ajouter… fit dans ma valise :-)

Fantastic replacement part, fixes the issue from the prior generation that wasn’t as durable

En remplacement de l'ancien horizontal drop lock, pas du tout fonctionnel.
Celui-ci est vraiment top.
Seul petit bémol le cout des frais d'expédition.
Livraison rapide et soigné.

Much better design. The original never kept the frame tight and always seemed to come out in flight. I haven’t used this on a flight yet but it holds the frame tight now and I think with this new design it won’t come out. The only improvement would be if the top part was metal too so it couldn’t separate from the screw piece. Should be fine though.

lent the bag to someone and the original nut is gone. The replacement came fairly quick.

Easy to order replacement parts on the website and prompt delivery makes for a satisfying experience.

Fit perfectly and received the item promptly

I hade unfortunately broken a bolt just before my trip. But Scicon send me the spare superquick so everything was solved

Vraiment plus solide

I had a part that needed replacing and Scicon was great at addressing my need and getting the problem addressed quickly. Thank you for your great customer service.

Perfect fit to stabilize bike bag.
